Puzzle
A solution is a one-argument function that reproduces every pair below, under the day's constraint. Nothing here is stored in the block: every node derives it from the parent hash, the height and C.

| constraint | 0 — no restriction |

Scheduled proof-of-golf
A valid non-genesis block contributes one point plus one per byte saved below par, capped at 8 saved bytes. Golf score reports competition quality; fork choice uses height and release checkpoints. The block ID is only the header hash, not a score.
| field | value | meaning |
|---|---|---|
| claimed length | 26 bytes | header claim; checked against the solution body |
| par | 26 bytes | derived from this block's puzzle |
| capped savings | 0 bytes | min(8, max(0, par - claimed length)) |
| block score | 1 | 1 + capped savings; genesis contributes 0 |
| chain score | 25 | cumulative additive score through this block |
